Speaking of Daily drivers.

For those of us really loving with our gearboxes on chilly mornings here is a reminder of a moment in Evo history.

Well fella's with the help of big Dane being an official laptop/knock volt ****. We were able to run some decent boost out of the 30R

We got her up to around 26.5 psi on 93/meth with very little knock activity , but then the gas light came on , and being the race fuel junky I am I just happend to have 5 gallons of 100 octane in the trunk

So we dumped in a few gallon and went for it 28 psi runnin smooth as silk but still a little rich , but I came prepared with a few different fuel maps ready for loading. loaded a map just a tad leaner and bam mid 11 a/f's. and again little knock activity.

So finally we get a cobra come out to play , and instead of the classic gettin pulled in 5th it was a gradual pull bye me
No brake boost I let him get the hit with my lag but bam boost is on and I real him in and start to pull maybe a fender at the top of each gear real close buy I gotta give me the win 2 for 2

Dan glad to hear your car is running good. I need to see that thing in person here soon.

Well the last race of the season is in the books. First i'd like to thanks Justin ands Jason for helping with unpacking and packin the car for me. That really was a big help. Also for following me home after i threw a cel and was seeing some smoke. Cars seems to be running fine so i guess i just need to get the code and see what the heck happened. It was worth the extra time there for me today as i won $100. Those poor people think they could beat me in my car. LOL . Oh and it was really nice to see so many evo's there today. I'm glad you guys showed up and had some fun.

anytime dude. evo pit crew FTW!

way to kick those "pro's" asses, but i still stick to my original position that you can't call yourself a "joe" if you car has a cage.

if you wanna check that code tommorow hit me up. i can always roll out with the laptop after dinner time or something. glad to hear the car made it home alright, i bet it is just something minor.

we had a hell of a turnout today. glad to see the subie to evo ratio evening out a bit. hope to see all of you guys and more back next season.

dan, glad to hear the new setup is doing well for you man.

i could prolly make a meet in the next two weeks or so. i will be moving at the end of the month into a new place, but i bet i could squeeze in some evo time.

Wanted to throw out a feeler to yins locals......

For those that do not have factory hid's is anyone interested in doing a group buy for an hid kit. I contacted the guy and normally they are $144.00 shipped but if I can get 5 or more the kits are $128.00 shipped and if 10 or more I can get them for $118.00 shipped.

They are really nice kits and all plug and play, they have gotten great reviews on the forums and have a 1.7 year warranty. You can get them in 4300k-12000k, 4300k is factory and have the greatest light output and then from there they start to lose brightness and gain the "blue" color and become more show. Im ordering the 4300k kit because im interested in the most light because at night with my low beams i cant see anything!!

Either way im ordering a kit for myself but if anyone else is interested we can all save money
