i saw yet another one parked right down the street from my house, i swear i don't see a single evo besides mine for months, then they come out of the wood work in a 3 hour span, and disappear again.

and you know you're not stealing them just to drive them past me, you're having an affair on your subie because you can't resist the temptations of the 3 diamonds.

after suby is paid off, evo might be a choice. but i kinda wanna build a hill climb car that i can 'leave' on the hill. 1st gen awd eclipse(talon or laser) would work as well something rwd (fox body stang or rx7)

watching jers vids makes me realize i wanna do some hill climbing, but as seen from friends. some cars don't make it back. Jer's been great at going 9/10th's and keeping his evo shiny side up. I don't think i would be so disciplinned. but i wanna try. plus i haven't been successful in convincing the wife that the roll bar is for 'safety'

I see a lot of evos lately too. I saw a yellow one and red one and a black one yesterday. All 8's.

I guess the IX's are staying home as of late.

I have mine gaped at .028 I believe which is what they came pre-gaped at, i just checked them to be sure they matched, I have no blowout issues.....If you need plugs i have a new set of oem's (NGK Iridium - 7 heat range), pm me if your interested.

I use Shell Rotella-T 15w40 now, used nothing but mobil 1 syn in the past (10w30 winter 15w40 summer)....I would just get a 5 qt. jug of mobil 1 syn at walmart they have the non ext. perf. kind and its a good price. Or you can spend a lot more and get amsoil or something, pepboys now has a wide selection of all kinds of performance brand oils.

Get a oem filter while your at the dealer - they are the best.

cool, ill let you know about the plugs and i already have a bunch of OEM oil filters for her. As far as viscosity rating do you think its okay for me to run Amsoil 0w30 here in the summer? I plan on changing the oil every 2500-3000 miles.

The W just stands for Winter. In other words, when at 0 degrees it'll be a 0 weight, while at normal operating temp it will be a 30 weight. The second number is the important one.
