Hey guys just jumping in here for a real quick question. I have a black 08 GTS w/ a shorty antenna and black painted grille if anyone has seen me around town. I'm tired of dealing with the idiot service manager and techs at Biondi. Between Baierl and South Park, who would you go to for service / warranty issues?

BTW: I hope to make it to one of these meets someday. I live in Monroeville and have drove past when you were all at the Miracle Mile -- but I've never had time to stop.

 

im pretty sure hes talking about the irwin car cruises. i havnt seen one in a while but they usto be in the norwin hills plaza by the target. right? o and that reminds me, today i saw a ****in huge biker meet at that Z&M cycles place by the sams club/wal-mart. there had to be close to 300 bikes.

+100. Ya im talking about the Irwin car cruise. Its every saturday that its nice out from around 4:30 - ?, usually dusk'ish. It is at Norwin Hills shopping plaza, which is across the street from target and gian eagle on rt. 30. Tons of cars, mostly oldies, but goodies

 

lol i did get out for free. It helps when the lot attendant is a cute girl about the same age as me. the lost look and puppy dog eyes of getting stuck in the garage all night got to her i think.

I need some advice on cancelling the extended warranty on my X. I got suckered into purchasing one when I bought the X in VA. it cost me about 1750. I checked with the dealership and I stand to get about 90% of it back if I were to cancel it. How have your experiences been with your EVOs in general (from a warranty standpoint of-course).

Colin, I know you told me that you'd canceled your extended warranty. Any advise would be welcome.

I do plan to start modding the car but not anytime soon. I am planning to keep it stock for at least the first year or two before I start tinkering with it.

Dude, that's where I used to go. Even though Biondi is 10 minutes from my house, I'd rather drive an hour to Baierl to get serviced. I still live by the rule that if I can do it myself, I'm gonna try, but some jobs should be done by a professional.

Speaking of which, sorry I missed the meet. I got a little carried away with a Tbolt clamp. They really are good clamps! Cracked the turbo outlet pipe - luckily nothing major - Only a $46.00 F-up. Still hits full boost, but it is cracked. I always get carried way with overtightening stuff. I just kept thinking, no boost leaks... no boost leaks... crack, lol.

 

My VIII lasted 500 miles stock. I did better in the X. Not by much.
