I can do it, it takes about 4 days for the suede to get here but im looking locally for some suede and I think i found a place but i have to stop by to check it out. It takes about two hours and 3 cans of the special paint I use to remove and paint all the plastic pieces, and I would wait atleast 6 hours before I even put them in the car to ensure it doesn't scratch. The wrapping of the suede takes a long time becasue of the wierd shape but I spent about 6 hours total on mines, that includes waiting for the glue to dry. Materials wise it takes 4 yards @ 20 dollars a yard ( thats with sunroof but a non sunroof evo takes a lot less) of suede and about two cans of adhesive @ 15 a can. Ill get pics up asap but so far it looks nice. The only thing is I would not recommend is to paint the seat belt things, I painted mine and they turned out horrible, The seat belt cannot be removed and you cant get paint to set right with it in the way. Also, you would have to paint it inside the car and as far as I know there is no paint that will take the abuse of using the seat belts daily.

I havent tried wrapping the pillars but if anybody has spare pillars I can practice. The only pillar I can see being a problem will be the ones in the middle where the seatbelts slide up and down becasue that piece is actually two pieces in one and if there is suede the seatbelts wouldnt slide up and down very easily.

They're a lot of fun, our cars were built for this stuff. Don't worry about your tires, I've done autox's on snow tires before. Besides, what better way to kill your tires so you can get some better ones.

Was talking to Adam the other day about setting up an Art Museum meet sometime next month. Haven't done it this year, so with many of the meets and dyno days out of the way, I want to see if there is interest in this. We will meet at the museum for a bit, and then cruise to some food/drink area with ample parking. Sound like a plan?

Actually the last weekend of May wouldn't be too bad, although kind of short notice for some people. It would be good for us to get together and see Matt away! Saturday the 30th, or Sunday the 31st, evening time, around 4-5pm meet-up.
