Wow, all this talk about pipes and what not. Too much work for me, I'd whip out the Springfield Armory XDM .40cal and lightem up with 2 to the head and 2 to the chest....haha. I'm actually an extremely good shot with a pistol. Shot expert all 5yrs I was in the Marines but never qualified with a pistol since only Staff NCO's got to shoot them. I believe it would have been the 9mm Beretta.

How do you like that XDM? I'm thinking of getting the XD .45 soon.

Marc, your comment on the kid running 11.2? the stock turbo IX RS? Doesn't that knock you down to 17th on the 2009 Top 20 list Jim? lol.

Jim I just saw that thread today about that kid running low low 11's on a stock IX turbo... amazing. I didn't see the one about the blown TC though. IMO you have nothing to be bitter about, that dude is an excellent driver with a WELL setup car. You made it all the way to the finals and lost cause you broke, its not like he beat you as a driver or anything, you DQ'd yourself. Of course it wasn't his fault you broke, but even if you did complete the pass, and somehow lost, its still a HUGE accomplishment and I wouldn't mad about gettin beat by that dude. I always say if you're going to lose to someone, make sure its someone good. I don't know many people that could have gone rounds like that, especially with you being new to drag racing the EVO. I think I said it to you before but i am impressed with your driving. you should really consider trying some of the other 'stuff' we do.
Marc, he actually posted that he thinks something is wrong with his transmission in someone elses thread. It's funny you mentioned that you thought I was a good driver and I still feel like I am but then I run into guys like him that make everyone else look like total amateurs. My car is actually lighter than his w/driver but he does have BFG KDWs and is cutting 1.56 60fts which sounds impossible to do with my all seasons. I'm determined now to hit 10's with my setup on pump. He knocked 2 tenths off his time at E-town which was 100f at the track. I'm figuring that I should be able to knock that much off as well without even improving my 60ft. Plus I really want Petey to tune me to about 28-29psi on pump since I'm only at 25psi now. Now I'm worried about time though. I wanna get this done before the tracks close around here. I'll just have to wait and see.

No because he's on the "Stock Turbo List" not "Stock Appearing". I'm more annoyed that he's kind of a tool and completely full of himself. All he kept saying when people asked how his car ran so well was "Driver Mod FTW" constantly. I wanted to give him an E-***** Slap....haha.

I think it's freak'n awesome. Now mind you I'm not pistol guru so I'm basing my opinion off of very limited experience. I've only shot a 9mm Beretta, 9mm GLock, .45cal Bersa, 44mag J-frame S&W wheelgun and a few others. I really wanted a 45cal XDM but they weren't available then and I got really impulsive.

Yes, but you might not get a spot if you wait since many people come up to register last minute. If you're sure you want to run, register on motorsportreg.com

^ chu is right on for a change, if you want to register for the event its best to do it online. no promiss that there will be spots open the day of. Not to mention its easier for the event organizers to handle everything with online reg.

I am excited for the new lot!

Dan I've got one of those expanding batons too We could have a dual! I took it off a kid back in high school and held onto it ever since. Its been sitting in my tool box for years, I should keep it with me in the car now that I think about it.

I'm not a gun person even though I grew up in the city but I do have some for personal protection. Recently my good friend, who happens to be a Minister of all things, talked me into the purchase was a .357 snub nose Ruger revolver with a crimson laser sight. he's got quite a few of them and said if I didn't buy it he would so I figured WTH.

Jim I've already told you that car WILL go 10's @ atco in november, I would bet money on it. 119 in 100* heat @ etown = 123-124 @ atco in november. all this talk about racing is making me want to go to the track...

Any Nugget Nectar fans should know that Tröegs made a mid-season batch, and that a few casks and firkins will be popping up in and around the city. Great firkin news if you ask me...

Hell Yeah!

I'm sure my brother-in-law has got a few reserved for the D-room. I was actually thinking of heading over there right now to watch the game. I'm off tomorrow...
