Hi everyone, happy to see we have a decent local philly community.

If all goes well I will be going out to Delaware for the AutoX on the 20th.
I'm looking forward to having some fun in my stock Ralliart on the track.

Hope there is room for a new member among the PRO EVO folks here.
It would be great to meet some folks at the event, maybe learn some tips.

My RA is still stock and I won't have it tuned before the event,
but I think it would be fun to get some numbers as a starting point.
I'm planing on getting a tuned, but still looking around for a good local shop.

Any suggestions or recommendations for a newbie are welcomed.

dane if you've never experienced their service department, i don't suggest you do when it comes to replacing a fuel return line. i won't let them inflate their tires. it isn't because the techs are bad, but that the service manager is a total dick. don't waste your time to have them tell you that there is no recall in the first place.

go to fred beans in doylestown (i know it is a hike) ask for mark linder. talk to him for 5 minutes and you'll see he's a half decent guy. not that he'll let you get away with stuff but he'll do you right.

welcome robert. I'm a drag racer so I couldn't give you any advice but these other guys can give you plenty of help. We've got a pretty cool crowd here for sure. I'm really excited to see what a race prepped ralliart and do on a track. Either 1/4 or auto-x.

Ben, is this the same batch Doug mentioned some time ago to look out for? Well, my week in Alabama has introduced me to some new stuff. Was in a mood for some pales ales, so I had a few different names, including Yazoo, Terrapin, Olde Towne (local), and Late Harvest's Autumn Ale. The Olde Towne was pretty bitter for a pale ale, similar to the green flash that Petey introduced me to. All good stuff though...

Doug was talking about something else, a collaboration between Troegs and another brewer who I can't think of at the moment. I think thats called Life & Limb and Limb & Life (2 beers). I don't care for the Green Flash.

That's it, thanks Pete. Green Flash isn't for everyone, you should have seen Abomb's face when he tried it the night we did my clutch...

Broken, and it's not uncommon. Tactrix won't answer the phone or return calls, and when I try to buy from their site it says out of stock.. I have an old one too but need another 2.0 for X's

Green flash is THE west coast IPA, how could you not care for it?!?
Never touched an RA but the "workings" are identical to an X MR..

Life and Limb should be hitting soon here, its Sierra Nevada and Dogfish collaboration. Bottled and sold under Sierra Nevada however.

Cant remember the proper order but life and limb is a maple beer, and then limb and life is actually a beer brewed as a by-product of the first. (Names may be reversed, who knows...)

They have a Firkin at Springhouse that they are tapping on Saturday. They say that they are doing 5oz pours. They are putting it on with a ton of other hoppy beers. http://www.draftingroom.com/spring_h...s/SH_home.html

Maybe you should pull some strings to obtain large glasses???

They are or were only selling Bombers at the brewery. Capones in Norristown got some bottles, but there is a limit of 1. I think that Jose Pistoles and TJ's (Paoli) put it on tonight, and there is a Firkin coming to the Piazza in Northern Liberties on the 17th. http://www.troegs.com/events.aspx

If I were in Alabama, I would be seeking moonshine. You'de have to consume it down there though, as a bottle could probably blow up an airplane.

I've heard that Terrapin has some good beers. I think they may have just started distributing to Philadelphia.
