Dude, mine is on jackstands waiting for me to recoup from the sleepy medicine they gave me this morning so I can drop the trans again. At least when you do go home, it's there and running.
I don't want to spark anything up here, but Marc, just to clear the air, I in no way disagree with anything you've said or the way you reacted. It just got a little awkward in here and being the loudmouth I am, I asked for you both to shut it. Thinking about it a bit more though, as far as I'm concerned, you have every right to voice your anger. Especially considering how long you sat on the info and bit your tongue. You're a better man than I am because I never would have handled it quietly. We all knew he wrecked someone's evo, but the circumstances surrounding it were very vague which says a lot about your ability to internalize your feelings. The excuse for taking of the Evo sounds like BS to me. There was no good reason for it short of the building catching fire and he wanted to protect it. I hope it works out 100% for you in the end.

Marc my post wasn't clear. It was supposed to mean you aren't slandering anyones reputation when he made the decision to do his customer that way. I was saying it isn't like you were Jim in his situation saying "here go take a cruise and have fun."

this was to clarify my last post.

I know it's childish but the guy that beat me in the semis when I broke the TC went racing last night and is pretty sure he blew something in the tranny. Is it wrong of me to get some small amount of satisfaction from it? He's got a fat head so it made me feel even better.

i do chin0 but they're all on my home computer.

Jim I just saw that thread today about that kid running low low 11's on a stock IX turbo... amazing. I didn't see the one about the blown TC though. IMO you have nothing to be bitter about, that dude is an excellent driver with a WELL setup car. You made it all the way to the finals and lost cause you broke, its not like he beat you as a driver or anything, you DQ'd yourself. Of course it wasn't his fault you broke, but even if you did complete the pass, and somehow lost, its still a HUGE accomplishment and I wouldn't mad about gettin beat by that dude. I always say if you're going to lose to someone, make sure its someone good. I don't know many people that could have gone rounds like that, especially with you being new to drag racing the EVO. I think I said it to you before but i am impressed with your driving. you should really consider trying some of the other 'stuff' we do.

marc, i find it more cost effective and timely to handle all my litigations with a lead pipe. but that's just me probably.

I kind of agree, but I have this expandable steel baton that makes more of an impact mentally when it's snapped open. A lead pipe has been done to death.

jeff i prefer bludgening over the cleaner route. i get more satisfaction that way

josh the snapping sound of a baton has its own effects but nothing strike feel into a crackhead in south philly like a white boy walking down broad street with a solid rusty pipe in his hand.

here's a great chester county memory for you two: i remember getting a gun pulled on me outside chik-fil-a in the exton mall by some F up (who is probably in jail today) from coatesville when i was in 7th grade (like 1993ish or so). nobody believed me when i told someone that was a random thought.
