He said "Well I guess your one of the lucky ones"
Than he asked me how much power I was putting down. I said 550whp and he said "you should let me take a look at that aem, I can guarantee another 50whp".
He also said they were going to have the only "climate controlled" dyno room in New England and I had to bring my car by.
My buddy Mike was standing right next to me and was like wtf, why would Bob bad mouth the shop you have supported since 2004. It was pretty funny.

Well the modified car world is tough to say the least and karma isn't friendly in this economy. Several people called me about a dyno day Forced Induction is doing in March (its on ccdsm.net). Those guys are saying its a "save the shop" day because its expected to be closed before summer. (If its untrue than good for Bob...because it would be horrible to shut down 8 months into buying a shop.)

I know Bishop Motorsports closed his doors in Canton CT...which sucks because Kyle was really great at corner balancing and im sad to know my suspension shop is gone.
ive actually talked to a couple tuners in CT that all said the same thing about forced induction badmouthing other shops and tuners.

If you need to badmouth other shops in order to drum up buisness...... UR DOING IT WRONG

Great at corner balancing, sucked at alignments. Premature destruction of one of my Advans due to a "slip" in toe. Happened twice on the same corner.

Anyone know of any reputable shops in CT that can perform an 4 wheel alignment on a lowered Evo???

They tend to read super high in Florida. They read normal (LOW) everywhere else in the country. Maybe he saw one of those threads.

Finally got it through emissions. Should be done soon. Im having a weird issue with my aem...it wont turn the car over..but when the aem was put in another evo it started it right up. When my stock ecu was reconnected to my car it also started right up. Something weird is happening but it seems like my aem is fine. It will get figured out.

The car is ready to be tuned other than that. Hopefully it will be done this week. Pretty soon I would normally be driving it again as Spring approaches...so im starting to miss the car for sure.

I'm getting my Ohlins installed there in 2 weeks and getting a custom alignment and corner balance. I've heard they're pretty good but have no personal experience yet.

This is going to be one interesting summer...we have some seriously fast evos running around CT now.

I call dibs on being the first one to get arrested.....after the next fast and the furious comes out.......since every retard in CT will be racing around trying to be Paul Walker.
Hopefully it will be on the way to the grocery store at 2,500rpms going 20mph..."but officer I am with my family going to the store"....."nope son...I saw that civic line up next to you at the light and reving his engine...you are obviously street racing.

Ooo yeah.. I would suggest to do decibel test, tint test, just get some papers saying that your car is legal.. After that movie, we will be pulled over for an air refresher on a mirror...
Im already being pulled all the time at south end of hartford, just because there is street racing going on around there..

I found a black evo IX MR that is in Groton, CT that I am thinking of buying. I was wondering if anyone might know who the owner is and if they can vouch for him. Guys name is Kevin. Also, is anyone close enough to that area to look at the car?
