taking the wing off is a HUGE PITA. I tried fishing line, sitting in the sun during the summer, and hair dryer, doesnt make it any easier. worth it if you have the patience. I do not haha

can;t u use goo gone and fishing line or floss?
goo gone makes any adhesive come off easily.

it didn't on mine. mine truck lid did have one small indentation on but i think that is from using the wing to open and close the trunk all the time.
