Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
i just use marine grease on the wheel studs. j/k
i've always wondered what i could put on there but with the frequency of me taking those wheels off it's been few and far between. that is until i get some new wheels/tires.

Pete, based on what you've posted over the years I don't think you should be working on cars... atleast not without some professional supervision. hopefully you have a much better set of tools for the house your working on.
I have two. One I bought from PB, and one I bought off a bum for $10, and got it warranteed at Grainger! I want to get a small one for small jobs that doesn't require lots of torque.
its true...
Thats f-ed up... I do alright. I've never used it on caliper bolts before but it seemed like a good idea at the time. Its not like my wheel has flown off or something. All you guys were makin fun about me not being able to get the rotor off when it fact the shoe's were holding it on. You guys claimin to "hit it with a hammer" like I'm some kind of f-ing retard or something... Beside's what else have I done that I've had trouble with? The whole issue with the plugs certainly wasn't my fault, and I handled that rather nicely for the persons who I feel were responsible...
No help for you with your tails... Mine turned out fine though.
end rant!

I think what you guys want is a high temp thread sealer, not a threadlocker. Red loctite does not fare well in heat anyway. a sealer will just provide resistance from the bolt spinning out loosely, like a tightly tapped thread.
