Ben, I'm running hawk hps on the corolla and it stops just as well as my carbotechs on the Evo only they can't handle high speed braking.

I have Brembo pads and rotors on the Civic and they stop the car like a tree.

Anyway, this is funny:

I'm gonna start doing the Autozone Lifetime Warrantee program on my family cars. My sister and parents aren't doing any spirited driving. Free lifetime replacement ftw!

Pete, are you and Marc staying at a hotel overnight?

Last issue caused me to BUY the SparkTech COP which has worked perfectly I might add. So I bought the COP and did not need to because it was simply an issue of not gapping my plugs right, NEWB that I am! I used a valve tool to measure spark plug gap, not the same as a spark plug gap tool. Endless road tuning car besides the COP unit, easily cost me a $1000 dollars because of me being stupid.

How did you do it? I have done that process a few times, but not the Mitsu way, the ghetto driveway repair method. Basically you just turn ignition on without starting, once ACD pump starts running you crack bleed valve open to pump air out. It worked on my car more than once, so I think its a sound method. Obiviously its a 2 person job.
I am one of the few who managed to blow their ACD pump, Adam Fuhs helped me replace the pump at Fed Ex field event if I remember correctly..

I'm curious as to why you had to gap plugs in the first place. Are you using copper plugs...which I didn't know MRs with MIVEC can.

I've use autozone life time warranty on all my daily drivers. Started when I used yo deliver pizza in college and go through 2 sets of pads a year. Had my crv for over 10 years and only paid for pads once. They also have performance pads like semi metalic and ceramic. I've used the ceramic pads on track before in the s2k and they work decent, similar to autox pads.

So scary I went out and bought a Diesel truck and trailer.

For the record I did torque wheels, problem was the wheel was slightly cocked on wheel studs when I torqued it, so it gave a false torque reading. I remember it happened on a Thursday, 4 days after event at Warminster. I had just gotten on PA turnpike from Germantown pike by Plymouth Meeting mall. Basically I went around on ramp and when I was on turnpike the wheel all of a sudden starting shaking violently, I immediately tried to get to shoulder but it was to late, wheel shot out of my car (I was in left lane) and hit center concrete barrier hard. It bounced probably 3 or 4 times way higher than barrier, but barrier design throws objects back onto road instead of on-coming traffic. As I was muscling the car over to shoulder I was watching in horror the wheel bounce thinking it was going to kill someone coming towards me.

So for everyone else on the road safety, I decided it would be better to tow..

Since towing, I have rolled my car off trailer 3 times with no ramps, nowI use wheel chocks. Sometimes I feel like a walking accident waiting to happen

No MIVEC here, mines is an 05. Yes NGK cheapies, they are usually right from factory, I just wanted to make sure I still check any plugs I put in car, just with the right tool now.

I tried method when putting the car vac together but it doesn't work. You also need to hard wire the actuator to open the line for fluid to go through. Chu helped me because its like a three person job. Lol
