marc thanks for the advice. from what I read the 12/10 split was the bees knees, but thanks for your personal experience. yea no r comps for me so i guess ill look for a set of 10s.

having 10/10 doesnt unsettle the back end at all? and how bad do they chu up rotors? I am going to get an extra set of blanks hopefully from importdps

carbo's are excellent on rotors. they won't chew them up at all.

IMO I found the rear was more stable under hard braking with the 10/10 combo. I started out running 10f/8r and would get the rear end to wiggle coming down from a straight into a turn. I swtich to 10/10 and the rear end wiggle went away.

Full disclosure: The same time I swapped rear pads I also added the vortex generator and gurney flap, so its not a real apples to apples comparo but I think it was the brakes that made the difference, not the area.

Well I dont quite have the money to race right now (yea yea spent too much on other toys etc) and due to my current work situation I am trying to save an avoid any unnecessary wear on the evo for the moment.

I will most likely come down to work with some friends since they pay for your food and hotel room etc and ill do some hot laps with buddies. if i can race i will, otherwise your taking me for some laps sir!

my dad keeps texting me about wanting to get tooooned and autoX this weekend, thanks guys, now hes into it. rain on sunday? wtf
