Two reason;
1. The fact that you went, if you really did. At least you're smarter than the rest of them, and realized you've accomplished nothing and went home. Did you see a young greek guy with a bear. His name is Steve, about 24ish. He and his family owns a few pizzerias in the Philly area, he's all about the movement.

IMO he either lifted off the gas with the wheel cranked too much or didn't get back on the gas fast enough to put the weight in the rear. Maybe he was afraid of running off to the left and kept the steering input to avoid running off. I'll watch it again tonight with sound and see if it makes a difference. either way the guy in the boxster must have **** a brick when the car hooked like that. VERY nice save!
^ i agree, he probably lift the throttle when he thought he was going to track out too much and go off. that's why i don't drive rear engine cars
the guy in the red car shouldn't have went off track to avoid. he should have stayed on track and brake straight. he had plenty of room to brake. a car braking straight is going to stop quicker than a car sliding side way.
i was there that day and didn't here about it. i can see the quickdry in the octopus all the way to the pit, from the nasa event the week before.
