Lets talk insurance for a little. Would like to hear what you guys are paying for what coverage. I think mine is pretty good, but some of you are probably have soem really good deals based on your driving history, and where you reside.

I have Progressive for the Evo, 08 X5, and 87 E30, all of which are under my name at my Philadelphia address. I pay $242/month for all three cars. My coverage is limited liability with comprehensive. 100/300k. Uninsured and underinsured. The policy is stacked also. I bet there are way better deals out there, but this was a huge saving when I jumped from Geico.

On a separate note, my gf is registering her 08 Civic today, and transferign the insurance to her new Lancaster address. She has State Farm, limited liability with comprehensive coverage, 100k/300k, and 80% rental car up to $1k limit. She's paying $52/month. She also had State Farm in Alabama, less coverage, and cost $97/month.

Insurance on my Evo keeps going up.

I have basically all the things you have and for the 2011 outback, 2008 Evo and 2003 corolla I pay $301/month. The Subaru insurance is pretty expensive too. I'm not sure if being brand new has anything to do with it. I can't imagine it would be higher than a used X5.

I'm with travelers too

How are you paying that little with a kensington address? Did you mean you forget to add in collision? Thats the only way I can see your insurance being that cheap. I pay about 189/month for 2 cars. about a 70/30 split between bmw and honda.

Thai, what's standard? No comprehensive I presume? Whats your coverage limitations? I realize you live in the boondocks, and prolly have the cheapest policy out of anyone of us!

Comprehensive costs almost nothing. I think comp costs more in the boonies than the city cause of deers, trees, etc. Liability and collision rack it all up

mine just went up! I'm paying $230.29 per month for 4 cars (04 Evo, 89 e30, 06 TSX & 01 Silverado), full coverage on all (comp & collision), full tort, $500 deductable, more than state min. for property/liability (don't know exact amounts but I'm covered, lol) under and uninsured coverage.

This is thru USAA. In the past I've had Geico, Progressive, State Farm and All State and none have been anywhere near as helpful/cheap or easy to work with as USAA. USAA is so good that earlier this year I received a check from them for $564.83. they said it was a dividend/Policy reimbursement or something like that. Came in a regular plain white envelope and I actually almost thru it out thinking it was junk mail... thankfully I looked inside and was totally surprised to see a big fat check.

it helps if you're marry and have kids. so you're insurance should be lowered soon now that you're expecting a little one.
