Philadelphia's Classiest Drunkards
Chau, James, and I did their last event back in early November. The guy did an instructor run in my friend's car (beat the crap out of it btw), came back and told me and Chau that he thought it was a good run, but we should be able to beat him. He said he ran a 76.xxx. Meanwhile, I stopped checking air pressures, looked up, and said "we already did." Guy walks away. THe three asians had a good laugh about it!

He really does! He's got the big and heavy f'er turning pretty well. He just rubbed me wrong when he beat the ***** of my friend's car instead of trying to show him the proper line and technique. Actually, all of the instructors there were like that. One even spun a student's car, twice! I talked to Aaron about it, and they wouldn't let him, nor I, instruct becasue they didn't "know" us, yet we beat most of the field.

I meant to respond earlier, Kevin, but I forgot. Anyway, if you dont already have it figured out, to me it sounds a like a decent sized boost/vaccum leak. Running rich at idle would make sense if air is getting sucked into the Maf and metered, but not making it's way to the Im.
Have you tried boost leak testing it?

Swapped plugs out, did nothing. No new CEL came on. Still waiting. Not really drivable so CELs might not come on.

Maybe next year I'll qualify as an instructor... I finished third in PAX with going to only 2 out of 6 events.
Good idea. It's been a while and haven't worked on this car. Totally forgot about the whole boost/vacuum leak stuff. I might of blown a pipe off somewhere. I'll check the system.

depends. if you have the OEM o2 housing I believe you have to remove the hotside/turbo/manifold because the o2 housing heat shield is in the way. Its been so long since I had the stock o2 housing so I honestly don't remember. with most of the aftermarket o2s you do not need to remove anything to access the sensor. If you don't already have an aftermarker o2 now is the time to get one especially if you have to remove your stocker to replace the sensor.
what makes you think your sensor is shot? are you getting a code for it?
