That really shows you how much speed you can carry through certain sections and utilize the entire track to track out.

Do you think the early apex'ing was a combination of race line and hpde/optimal line? It seems like he did it in more places than 4 and 5.

 

Did you try early apex'ing last track event and didn't like it?

 

I was following instruction and I also early apex when I completely screw up my braking or turn in or both at the same time.

I'm talking about a race line vs. hpde not whether or not I like early apex'ing.

 

Im a complete newb, but I dont think there is a difference. Racing line is essentially the shortest line ar ound the track...HPDE/Optimal line is...

 

wheel to wheel racing is going to have a less optimal line to defend the position.

 

Hpde line is the safest line around the track, not usually the fastest.

I think that guy was running 28 with the chicane, that would probably be a 25 without!
