#1 WD40 is for newbs. Real men use PB blaster... waiting for Petey to come in a say what he uses that is 10x better.

#2 Told you them bolts be backing out, B!

Morning bishes.

Dan, that is an insurance claim, you should only have to pay deductible if you have comp and collision. Did you look into claiming it yet?

BS. I've seen you autox. You hit errthing not moving... and even some things that do move.

Dan if you are claiming on insurance make sure you tell them the chair fell off a truck and struck your car in mid-air. Don't say it was laying on the ground and you ran into it.

I pulled apart a set of Evo rear knuckle/wheel hub/brake yesterday. Now, how the heck does the ABS sensor come out? I removed the 12mm bolt, and the damn thing doesn't budge. Not sure if the sensor is still good, but I don't want to ruin it if it is, so I haven't tryied anything other than oulling by hand. Ideas?

^ its seized to the hub. Some PB blaster or koril and a little muscle should do the trick.

thanks pete. i took it to chester county transmission today. i also took the day off of work. i heard good things about them and they seemed like no nonsense (not like the type of shop that wants to replace my windshield wipers and pcv valves in addition to what i brought it there for).

i couldn't have avoided it without getting into the car next to me and the lady in front of me swerved to where i would have hit her if i swerved in her direction too. eating the chair was probably the better of the 3 options.

I thought about all that. not sure i'm going to claim it unless it needs a new transmission or something. i expect costs to be at or under my deductible anyhow.

yes. if it were laying in the road and i hit it, it would be collision. if it fell on to my car from the truck it would be comprehensive and my rates wouldn't be affected.

i don't carry comprehensive coverage on that car and with my company anything that you hit or hits the car is covered under collision. when my wife's BMW was hit while parked in a parking lot and the dude took off, they said it was considered collision since something hit the car.

none of that makes sense. isn't insurance coverage there to cover things when the car hits or get hit by something? and doesn't the policy differentiate between the different types of hits? to them it's all collision.

yeah just don't try to remove it the way you tried to remove the corolla's rotors a couple of years ago......it'll never work
