I think you get the upholstry, dunno about the sunroof though. Check with a dealership to see if it gives you everything you want. Some guys are calling it the poor man's MR, I call it the sensibly priced MR if it fits the bill.

Andy, I am surprised you want to go from what you have to an MR touring. For the price, there's better cars out there that do the luxury thing better than mitsu. You could get a used naturally aspirated 911 for the prices they're asking.

In other news, I saw Avatar last night. It was pretty entertaining and I'd bang that blue chick if put to the task.

Hot tub time machine was actually very entertaining.

There's a lot of other cars in that price range that I would probably look at before I spent that kind of money on a Mitsu. Personally, I'm not a fan of the MR at all, everyone's different though...

My main gripes with my evo are road noise and ****e interior. My business is on north broad, so tooling around in a 996 C2S or an E92 335i is out of the question (trust me, I've done my research!)

How about a nice Maxima?

If anyone didn't get that, it has to do with Andy's heritage!

Your not allowed to gripe about road noise when you bolt on wheels and tires like you did. Also, you took off the comfiest suspension there is for these cas and sold it to Chu, so your SOL on that one.

Eff the japs X: (i kid.) Will you quit it with the maxima suggestions?!?! I dont want anything fwd! I want something that can carry its weight well! I'm dynamating and mass load vinyling the interior in a couple of weekends. That should do away with the unwanted road noise. Hopefully I can trade my se seats with doug or marc for the leather. That should help qualm my sucky interior itch

I beg to differ! I swear the kw's ride better than the oe bilsteins on the stock springs. IT just does!.....(maybe im just tryin to justify the price tag.)

edit. stock a046 were the noisest tires i have ever had the privilege to drive on. The volks really didnt add to road noise at all. Comfort is a different subject. I dont mind a stiff suspension at all. I'ts the constant buzzing and drivetrain whizz that gets me

Yes.

OE MR is by far the nicest ride available for an VIII or IX. Period.

How 'bout a lightly modded/tuned sleeper RA? That would be nice, wouldn't it?

The shocks are nice, but the springs matter much, and the stock springs suck. You wouldn't know though. I will also add that my coilovers ride pretty nice for what they are. I don't doubt the KWs either!
