Oil pump might be ****ting out on you metal saber. Maybe something is lodged in it.

Go forward, I was at BR Car fest and was the younger guy looking at your car with two 15 y/o kids. I took my little brother and his friend out but I was admiring how clean of a racecar you've got there. Are you heading out there again this coming friday 6/11?

Jeremy, for the TT on the Wilson circuit you said no special safety gear is req'd just pants and long sleeves. I guess you assume it goes without saying but helmet is required yes?

Found a piece of garden house and did some listening. The sound is coming from the back of the turbo. Thoughts on how to proceed?

cotton pants. i.e. jeans
cotton long sleeve shirt (thickness doesn't matter)
SNELL 95 or newer helmet
Shoes with leather uppers are preferred.

the wilson circuit can be quite fun. it will give your brakes and the tires on the drivers side a work out though. it also makes a perfect stepping stone from other forms of racing to a full track day. doing several events on the wilson circuit taught me quite a bit about the car before i took her over to the north track. i highly recommend these events.

This is a SCCA event and we will most likely have pizza for dinner provided. (at least for EVO owners)

I need you guys to come out and race! We had quite a few evo's out there before snd I want to see it continue. This is the best intro into time trials that you will ever have! It's pretty safe and a heck of a lot of fun. Let's quite pissing and moaning with each other and all get together and race.

If we get enough interest, I will try and organize alittle suby-evo challange.

You don't need any special safety gear just long sleeves and pants.
If my car is in working order I think I would be able to do that.

I'm getting my car flat bedded down to Baierl tomorrow. Should I take the front bumper off the car? I'm worried the splitter won't clear.

Yes you should. I have a stock bumper. My car has needed flat bedded twice. Both time it scraped the bumper. I refuse to put a new bumper on because I know its going to need towed again and again.

Got it hauled down. No issues getting it on the trailer. The garage sits on a higher elevation than the driveway, so it drove right on with a little bit of clearance. Getting it off required a few 2x4s, but it come off with no issues.

Turns out to be an major exhaust leak. Poor gasket.

Me either, that is a solid metal gasket on mine, and this appears to be the same one . How the hell did it crack and break like that? Either your exhaust temps are ridiculous, or it just must have been a manufacturing defect or damaged during install.

Not sure. Have to see what Mike thinks. Not sure if it was an install issue or not. I've already had 2 issues. 1 with my turbo moving and now this exhaust to turbo coming loose. Not sure if it's due to my running on the North Track or what.

Hopefully get it done tomorrow.

I don't want to sound mean to you metalsaber, I never met you so trust me no disrespect... but you had to take it to the dealer to figure out it had a turbo gasket leak? Is it still under warranty? Why would you take it there for something so simple.
