Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
you know it actually wasn't too bad over my way.
everyone at work was pitching a fit about how the end of the world was coming, but it rained hard for maybe 10 minutes, power flicked a couple times with wind gusts, and that was it.

Here's some videos i've been meaning to post since the last "Too busy making tags to go to Evo drag strip day."
Curt Brown's Run
JSDyno's Evo against Turbo 350Z
Evo X vs STI and Mazdaspeed 6 vs GTI (sorry it took so long Chad)

I didn't get the vette, but I heard that would have made one hell of a video. I was busy letting air out of my tires when I saw everyone look up and say "oh s&#*" in unison. I saw how close his tires marks came to the guard rail, so he must have done some hella driving to keep it on the track.
Don't know who the White X was, but that was a sad loss to the STI.
Oh, and just thought I'd mention the last of the fleshlight drags for 2010 will be in Waynesburg this Saturday. Gates open at noon, racing starts at 2:00. I'll look forward to probably seeing none of you there!

anyone headed to budds creek for world cup finals? word on the street is that shep is bringing the first gen back out and his evo too. http://www.importvsdomestic.com/
Canex isn't getting cocky, canex just wishes that there were more Evo members going to events period. Don't get me wrong, there are alot of us that do, but the primary posters on this thread don't really seem to do anything Evo related anymore. I'm fully aware that flashlight drags are not everyone's cup of tea, but they are fun motorsports events in an area which sorely lacks motorsports. I feel like the community overall around here has really tapered off compared to a few years ago. I'm aware our cars are getting older and we, as a group, are getting older, but I still love my car and love driving the **** out of it.
Just seems like people will talk about doing things and then not do anything. Or else just sit on the sidelines and make fun of people for taking chances. It's lame and not what I was initially drawn to in this community. Don't get me wrong, there are still alot of guys that race, (i.e. Jeremy, Curt, Ian, Brian, Dan, etc.) but big meets like we used to have and big cruises that would follow are what I miss. I'm sorry if this is a bit of a useless sentimental rant than i'm sure is going to incur the wrath of the tag gods, but if you see a bit of perceived sarcasm or arrongance in some of my statements - you know why.
