Buschur Bushings? I really don't know who makes them for the six speed.

I do hope the old EVO is treating the new owner as well as it did for me. I miss that car some days.

I was referring to some of the old tags....a*** bushings.

That would have been a nice car to build for racing.

Well, today a policeman showed up at my house saying there was a suspicious object that someone said they thought was a pipe bomb in my mailbox. I thought to myself, what the hell is this all about? Turns out the oil analysis sample I put in the mailbox to send to blackstone labs was declared a dangerous object and the mailman said it was a bomb.

Blackstone labs is taking over the US mail, one sample at a time.

Hey, I need some help guys. I haven't been on here in forever. Basically the X is stock except an intake. I had a 1/4 tank of gas from Sunoco (93) in the tank. I went to hit it in 2nd and I kept hitting fuel cut or boost cut or whatever. Boost seemed to be normal. It would cut out and then pick up and cut out, etc... Clutch is holding fine. I stopped to get gas at a different Sunoco and filled it up. Hit 2nd and 3rd right out of the lot and everything seemed fine again. Car was pulling like it should.

I've heard a few times about fuel tank issues in the X. Any new updates on this?
Or could it just have been a bad tank of gas? I've never had problems with gas from Sunoco or Shell. I have all of the mitsu reflashes and relays and that sort of thing. No hoses came loose. Any ideas?

with a 1/4 of a tank under the acceleration could the pump have been getting starved?

I think that may be the problem. I came across a couple threads stating that the X has fuel pickup issues with 1/2 a tank and under. It happens a lot in auto X. That sucks though, but I'd rather it be something like that than something mechanical. I guess I'll try to keep my tank above 1/2. I usually don't let it fall much below that, but I'll have to get gas just about every day or so now.

Can it be fixed by adding an aftermarket fuel pump?

There's really not much info on this. Most of the concerned guys are autoX guys and they end up adding surge tanks or something.
