fleshlight drags are a good time but they're so damn far away now.

it was a bit more convenient when they were up in zelie.

Awesome time guys! I'll try to have most of the pictures edited and up by the end of tonight. Damn batteries went dead right before we took lunch break. Hopefully we have another event before summer is over and I'll actually get to run. Thanks again Jeremy for putting it all together, it seems everyone had a good time.

IMPORT car cruise

So...what is the deal with car cruises not having any or basically just a few import cars. We as a group, along with other forums should try and get a car cruise going with just imports.

I went to two cruises today since it was too hot out for racing, and all I saw was muscle cars and older roadsters. Don't get me wrong, I love the old cars, used to have a 340 Duster when I was 19, but it would be nice to see some EVO's, Subies, Honda's, Nissans', etc at a cruise.

I had an idea about getting people to attend an Import Car Cruise. We should get a sponsor like Cheerleaders, Silky's, Blush, or Filly Corral to have dancers charge a few dollars to have pictures taken by our cars at the cruise. The lovely ladies could walk around like at the NOPI shows. We just need to get organized...if anyone wants to try getting import cars together...let me know..I'll help if others can help get something started.

We just need to find a good parking lot and some vendors....

Would be a slick idea. Be interested to hear more on the idea. Possible post up on the Subie forums for the Pittsburgh area. I'm sure we could get a lot of cars together.

Not exactly my greatest run, but my GoPro camera has been going downhill lately. Been shutting off by itself after a few seconds or a few mins.

Sounds like fun. As to the car cruises not having import cars. There are lots of reasons. A big one is that import owners don't seem to have much interest in such events. Also I've gone down to a few since I have the mr2 days and never felt quite welcome. An EVO, MR2 Turbo or even the old rx7 were all quite rare. Far more then a c5 or any year mustang. It's really their loss.

Yes...that is how I feel, not welcome, and I am a lot older than most EVO drivers. I guess that is the question, what would be of interest to most import drivers? It seems the NOPI shows have the right idea, but that is a lot of expense.

It could be as simple as getting a local bar with a big parking lot willing to want the customers.

That is one huge advantage I think the import car group has as an advantage...is placing info on a date, time, and place for an import car cruise on all the car forums, along with facebook...you could see a pretty big crowd very easily...

The key besides lots of cars...is something/someone to draw people in....maybe we could ask DMB to put on a small concert
