Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
on a completely unrelated note, i know a lot of you guys are IT folks.
anyone here ever used MOSSDW.exe to load test MOSS 2007?
i've been messing around with this command line for a couple hours now and been having all kinds of fun but the documentation on the tool sucks.
oh, and my clutch and flywheel are here.

So you going to get it ready for tomorrow (car that is)?
Why are you getting into MOSS? I setup a system at my previous job and it was the biggest pile of monkey crap. Like you said, the documentation sucks. It became a maintenance/resource *****. Good luck...I mean it.

this load testing tool (mossdw) is pretty nifty, and i am sure it can do some awesome stuff, but i'm having a hell of a time tracking down any documentation for it outside of microsoft's out of the box CHM file. which seems to be lacking quite a few areas of interest in the load testing tool.
as far as the car goes looks like it won't have the new clutch/flywheel in it until a bit later on next week at the earliest.
unless someone wants to help me kidnap mike and force him to work through the night installing it?
If you think I am acting like a tool then look at the tags, I have not done one tag and look at all the bull****, I would like to see every person who put those there take a loan out and buy and dyno and a shop and see how good they do.
I am the S, but I am not here advertising, or claiming to be part of the shop, I am here on my own.

i see the reputation that is growing already and I don't know anything about J&S - but I see how one of the owners act and definitely makes me want to stay away because obviously my car and my 3 mods are not welcome....
haha, well i'm getting in to moss because i'm now actually doing SharePoint development full time.

I'd help you kidnap Mike, but Steve would complain about you not working on your own car.
we can't tranquilize him if he has to wrench through the night, but can we fill it with Thorazine and tranquilize me for fun?

i've been spending the last couple days setting up VMs for development environments here. got to configure server 2008 r2 a couple days ago which is a frigging sweet OS.
next week i should be ready to start working on our testing/staging boxes and setting up team foundation server.
i'm just about salivating at the prospect of getting to use TFS.
DMB is playing tommorow, your screwed trying to get him to work. Well that is unless we have some of the stuff that those dirty hippies sell.
. I'm not sure if installing a clutch on acid is a good idea. It might come alive and swallow him hole. That would be bad!

i've had a copy of 2010 at home for a few weeks now, haven't gotten much of a chance to delve in to it yet, but it seems pretty sweet.
