Sure would be nice for someone to get pictures. I'd love to get pictures, but can't drive and get pictures at the same time. Well at least get pictures of the SM group which is the only important group.

also it seems the "handful" of "us" aren't even on this board. so maybe you should keep your pissing match on pittspeed where it belongs and not go taking the initiative to bring it places that aren't directly related. just because this thread was mentioned, doesn't mean any of us involved. in fact it looks like your major protagonist over there is banned on this board, so now i am really failing to see the correlation.

so maybe you can talk about that in PMs while you troll somewhere else.

i'd be willing to bet you will be faster than you're giving yourself credit for. i think you said you're already familiar with the track from karts. it won't take you long to figure what the car wants to do out there.

Well I've only ever run the front half the course. Never run the backside.

BTW If you own an evo 1-3 your car is very similar to a dsm . I know all of us are driving the Evo II right now so perhaps he was right.

Just about everyone in this thread was either talking about Test n Tune or Time Trials before you derailed it with an episode of The Young and the Restless. If you have a problem with someone, by all means call them out. But bashing a thread that I have found to be extremely helpful in choosing my 3 bolt-ons, is irritating. As far as the tags go, noone in the short history of tags has earned one as much as you did. Best of luck with whatever problem prompted you to bash us all.

Excuse my ignorance but if you do not represent the company then I must assume you are not the same Steve listed on the contacts page of this website?

http://www.jsdyno.com/

As well as your not the "S" in J&S? Perhaps we were wrong in assuming you were that Steve.......if you actually are that Steve then I am not sure how you can say you do not represent the company?

There is not anything I can think of that is too low for a cf lip. Wait till you see EVOdaves car,That is low!

There are spots to spin out there. And Justin is right, the lip of the road vs grass is enough to send you spinning. Not much worry about hitting things but it has happened.

question guys.....should i get my spare bumper and try to make it useable so i don't rip my front end off or is it smooth ? i kinda assumed it was gonna be a nice smooth course considering carts race on it but now i am nervous lol

you shouldn't have any problems as long as you stay on the tarmac.

how low are we talking here? the only issue i would possibly see if while pulling in to the pits from the road, but even that shouldn't give you any problems unless you're already scraping level ground.

About those three bolt ons. Does putting a stereo in an RS count? I did bolt it in. Otherwise I am acctually one short of the magic three bolt on requirement.

Anyone else growing weary of the ragging on the majority of evo owners with stock to moderatly modifed cars like this SpoolinSteve guy is doing? Hell he doesn't even HAVE an evo and comes here to talk ****?

I drive my car every day of the year regardless of weather. It's paid off. I can afford to fix it if it breaks, which it seldom does. While I can appreciate the quazi street legal race cars, they're not rare or even special save to their owners and don't seem to have daily driver reliability that I need in, well a CAR. There's only one local who seems to be winning accolades and awards racing his evo and he seems to race more then a 1/4 mile at a time, you know like it was designed to do.

This may come as a shock to the foolish but many of us have other interests outside of the almighty EVO. My ego is not tied up in my car or how fast it is down a 1/4 mile track or how big a number it throws down on a dyno.

we are talking about 2.5 " off the ground... gets a bit tighter then that with cornering G's even with uber stiff spring rates. That being said i have raced at many pretty bumpy , rough , cambered places without problem besides poping the side of the bumper off the fender (which i set it up to do ) so i can just snap it right back on and roll
