Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Welp, FP called last week and said that the turbo was completely destroyed, nothing could be salvaged. They said they would replace it for free and even upgrade me to a Red if I wanted. At the time I wasn't sure and just said replace the Green and give it a full workover, new WGA, etc... Well after Mike yelled at me passing up the upgrade I realized he was probably right, so when FP called today, I told them to just upgrade it to the Red. I only lose a hundred or two RPMs of spool and gain a few lbs/min flow and it would be easier on the turbine which means less likelihood of a failure again. I was really looking forward to how far we could push the HTA Green, but in retrospect, it put down some great numbers, and was a fun turbo, but I was really expecting more from it then it was physically capable of.
I am anxious to see how the Red does, and how the car will act with this new list of mods.

It is in our local one. Most people don't wander there unless told so. It's only for local sale anyways /sigh.
Is this ok?
Tires and wheels if anyone is looking?

Yesterday I had Mike at Baierl install my Swift springs and now my suspension is noisy as ****. My car sounds like a beater haha. I was told this creeking/clunking was merely the springs settling and that it is normal.
1. Is this normal?
2. Generally how long til it quiets down?

Mike quickly discovered the issue, fixed it, and I was out of there in about 45 minutes total. Now the rear suspension sounds just like OEM, quiet without even a small squeak. Just what I hoped for.

My apologies to Mike, my frustration should have been directed at the chick pushing papers at the reception table.
Mike @ Baierl FTW
