Well I pulled the locking nut off the rod and screwed the cap down a couple more turns. It's starting to hold boost better now. Hitting 20psi around 4800 and 26.5 around 5200rpms. So about 1k off on boost peak. Gotta screw it down a couple more turns and it should be good to go. Only problem, is it's almost at the point where I can't pull the rod up any higher. Hopefully get something rigged up to pull that rod up higher.
Back to the bBlowes and Home Cheapo tomorrow.

It doesn't seem to be a standard thread either. It appears to be 5/16-20 if you want to try to get more out of it that way.Originally Posted by metalsaber

Well i turned it another half turn after last test. Will test tomorrow to see how much it affects things. Hoping I'm pretty close. I probably could pull the rod if I do another half turn. After that, I'm not sure how I'm going to pull it.Originally Posted by EvoIan

The guy has been doing what he does for 20 years, (he says things for a reason i imagine) your just a kid who reads the stock ecu forums and practices on you own personal car but never ever ever backs anything up with dyno numbers or track times.
just a couple of quick observations here. don't really want to get too deeply in to this because your post (once again) is obviously very ill-conceived.Originally Posted by Peteypab2133
Maybe you should set up dates to go to buschurs to tune on his dyno for him.. Im sure you can show him a few things or two

al from dynoflash made some very high numbers with the stock ecu if i remember correctly, as have plenty of other people.
trav has worked a good bit on my car as well as several other locals in this thread with excellent results.

The butt dyno only works when its not plugged.
excellent results are just a state of mind. My standard for excellent results obviously is higher than yours.
