Hey guys, just added another Mitsu to the family! This thing is awesome and has pretty much everything my Evo doesn't: (it's a GT) HIDS, bluetooth, Rockford Fosgate system, hard drive. Very happy with it.

you can't go wrong with ohlins though. I have heard nothing but good things about them. If I hadn't picked my robis up at such a good deal I would have gone with ohlin.

they lower it perfectly and I beat the **** out of them when I first got them and they handle great. Perfect for street and track use. Can't wait to try them on the track.
Sweet deal man!!! Let me know and we can arrange a time and place to meet up. Interested to see how this new motor of yours. Should be a killer setup with the FP Green and E85.

Definitely considering the Ohlins due to the nice adjustment setups on them. Those certainly will be on my list to test out. Just getting an idea on different options out there. I'd rather not sacrifice too much comfort if possible.

Ohlins makes great suspension for bikes and good stuff for cars. Since your looking at ohlins kind of budget also check out tein, they have a remote electronic damper adjuster that allows presets, such as track/street settings.

you can come for a ride in my car but it's not going to feel like what a street car will feel like. I'd try and go for s ride I Kristi's car if you want a good idea what they will feel like. Trust me tho, you won't get a better setup for anywhere close to the cost. Great ride on the streets and as good as anything under $8000 on the track IMO.

All offers are greatly appreciated. It also would be nice to get a sense of a nice track setup on a car. Considering that when going to BR, I'd like to have the suspension dialed in for that as well.

Looks good. My wife bought an 09 last year and loves it. IIRC, the GT has AYC on the front wheels now along with a front lsd. Must handle great.

Should be interesting. I can't wait to get it out on the street either. I saw these coilovers too, they look very promising: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ve...fv-review.html . A little pricey, but if I didn't have my Robis, that is what I would go with. The ride height they have them set to with that car in the picture is sexy.

^ those are the ones were tslking about. Except that Works does there own valving and spring rates. You can also get them to do set them up with whatever spring rates you like. I believe Cbrd is selling their setup of these also.

Stay away from tein! They are crap and use horrible spring rates.

Thats good to know. I'm pretty sure I'll be out their way in June. I'll have to stop in and have a chat with them.

Mike definitely warned me about a few of the mfg out there to stay away from. But to do a proper test, I'm up for testing them all. That way I can do a fair comparison and know my money was well spent. haha
