Local Pittsburgh meet part deux
Hey...nice meeting you yesterday. Your WW Evo looks nice lowered. Too bad you left...the Pens were not worth watching...luckily I listened to it over the radio on my drive back to Virginia....it was easier hearing the loss than watching it.
the dirty play, cheap shots, and utter bullsh*t associated with that game were just disgraceful.
Last one was nearly two years ago at the Fox and Hound, maybe 5 cars came an there was ten of us. Maybe just make it monthly at QSL for the Subaru meet, I'm sure 5-10 Evo's won't bother them, we've had as many as three before, there are close to 50 Subarus there every month, first Wed of each month, 6pm.
hey guys noticed that there hasnt been a "meet" in quite a while and i am kinda new to the area, actually i am in north western pa up by Dubois, but i was looking for a strip to run my car at cause i havnet ran it on a strip yet, and found that the pittsburgh raceway park is having a test and tune this saturday. i am prob going to head out there for that and figured weather permitting that maybe we could do some sort of meet/fun day there. let me know what you guys think.

ok awesome, yeah i will be there, i am sure i will be the only x there, unless someone not on either of the forums shows up. i just hope the weather is good!
I've been running it for a month without problems. AFR's seem fine. Depends on what stations you go to, but I'm pretty sure most don't change to the winter E70 blend. This is based on what others have reported in the past. Getgo in Wexford was not amongst those, from what I remember.
Need some help with an older 2003 Evo 8. My friend just picked up a yellow Evo 8 from swickley and it was this ladies sons car who died. Well the turbo that was in the car was blown, but she gave us another turbo. We installed the turbo a little bit ago and the car will go into boost, but it wont go past 4600rpms and just stutters rapidly everytime even when you arnt on it. Sounds like a fuel cut. We popped the hood and noticed the turbo glowing red from just cruising and made us think that the car is quite lean... Took one of the plugs out, and the tip is white and sort of smells like a sweet smell to be honest.. We just picked the car up this morning and wondering what to do. If its tuning related or something else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
