We don't have alot of options as BR schedule is packed for the season.
It's good to hear that BR is booked . It's great to have a local track and keeping it financially viable is great.

And since Andrew has a roll bar now, I'm hoping he decided to come out and race.

BTW, the dates are getting finalized for next years BR time trials. I expect to see everyone there.

may 21
Oct 8

Wilson circuit

Maybe this year I can't get away from the dragstrip and get on the north course. But then again I need tires, brakes, driver skill, a set of nuts, etc.

Edit: I did not write this to start a war. Each type of racing has a particular skill-set.

i'm going for 4!

i've got a bunch of stuff down in the parts department ready to be put on, and a few things already on including a walbro 255, zeitronix wb, 3" ported ss o2 housing, ported stock exhaust manifold, coilovers, gm 3 port boost solenoid, and a couple other minor doo-dads. plus whatever i may or may not pick up over winter. still kicking around the idea of injectors and larger front sway bar.

then once that all gets installed thanks to the new wideband i should be able to get a really solid tune on there and have a very fun car to play with.

Sounds like a nice winter project. What coilovers are you going with?

Mine have held up fine once i got past the initial issues......defininety use a little thread lock once you get them set where you want them....especially if you are going to be driving the car hard...

yep....blue and i used a generous amount....have not had any issues with them moving since I did....Also make sure to clean the threads really well after driving if you plan on adjusting them....a couple little pieces of grit in the threads will ruin your day if it gets in there when tightening them up

will do. these ones are definitely in need of a good cleaning. i got them gently used and plan on giving them a scrub and adjusting the height on them before i put them on the car.

the previous owner had them fairly low (nothing ridiculous, and roughly the same height as the works springs i used to have) but i learned my lesson a million times over about having a daily driver too close to the ground in pittsburgh.

ideally i think i would like to go about 3/4" lower in the front and around 1/2" lower in the back, but we will see how it works out. i don't have the patience or a level enough surface to take them on an off a bunch of times measuring and adjusting, so i might just adjust them relative to themselves and leave it alone.

i also might be having mike do the work for me, because after blowing out my shoulder doing the last suspension swap, i am not exactly excited to potentially ruin all my surgeon's hard work already.
