Thats not dirty... Even Brad K. said that was some of the best racing he's ever been involved with. Keep in mind there was oil all over the track.
As far as the ALMS race, LMP1 car has so much more power, almost impossible for the LMP2 to get around him at a fast track like VIR.

Re: the NASCAR at WGI thing, the attitude is "I'm the first loser so let's ram the guy in front of me so I can get around him.". They rammed eachother several times. It was exciting but that's more demolition derby than racing IMO

Rubbin is racing in Nascar, different than the other videos. I actually really enjoyed that video, makes Nascar exciting. The regular Nascar is like watching paint dry to me.

Stop watching racing you don't understand then. Its far from demolition derby. Stick to watching BMW's, it suits you better.Originally Posted by dek0026

Agreed, some of the best racing anywhere right there....compare that to the demo derby that was the CTSCC at Laguna...some of the worst "professional" racing I've seen in years.Originally Posted by grillpt

It's not that much more power, especially considering these cars make as much downforce as they do...LMP1 @ 520hp & 1984lbs (3.8lbs/hp) on 16" wide tires vs LMP2 @ 450hp & 1984lbs (4.4lbs/hp) on 14" wide tires. Now, when an LMP1 car looses some of that df...the playing field evens out a good bit.Originally Posted by grillpt

You also have to factor in the fact that the guys running the #20 Dyson are inexperienced and have been off the pace in the races they have done so far. I didn't watch the VIR race so I put in my two cents. I was busy watching the Toyota Hybrid embarrass the Audi Diesel and Audi Hybrid.
It really shows that just because you're pro with wheel to wheel experience, it doesn't mean you're quick

That is kinda it but they had a new driver, Mark Patterson. Mark's first time in the car and he hasn't been at VIR for 4 years. Funny thing is he'll be doing the 10hr Road Atlanta in Oct too. Originally Posted by chu's brother

Read his blog of VIR race. NO mention of blocking and hitting the LMP2 car. So maybe it was Mike Marshall or he just chooses to ignore what happened.
