tuning in the area

just moved to eastern washington and need to have some work done to my evo. I need a tune for my car and a intake manifold installed. Will be buying ICE188 ATP 3071R turbo kit and will need a new tune. My current mods are UTEC, HKS 272's, 3" turbo back, cat delete, AEM cam gears, Greddy Profec B, 700cc injectors, Ingen intake and hard pipe, AMS lower hard pipe, AMS crank pulley, Turbo smart BOV. Have a new DC sports header and used Ingen down pipe that I will no longer need since I'm buying the turbo kit. Any input on what shop to go to in western washington would really be helpful thanks.

Where at in Eastern Washington?

If your around the Spokane Area I would recommend trying out F-2ning(F-tuning). They are in Hayden Idaho which isn't far from Spokane. They are pretty spendy but they know their stuff. Other than that check out the shops in the Seattle/Tacoma area. There is a thread on here that has a really good list of Western Washington area shops. Over here is Spokane there are a couple I would recommend staying away from but wont list names publicly since I dont know that its allowed on forum.

Anyway welcome to Eastern Washington. Feel free to pm or instant message me if you need help findin anything else on this side of the state. Majority of the folks on here are from the coast so finding EW people is kinda hard.

I recently moved to Coeur d'Alene, ID and have been searching for a good tuning shop. I read your post about f2ning. Apparently, they don't exist anymore. I called their phone number, emailed, and drove to where their shop used to be. No luck.

I'm still looking for a shop in the North Idaho or Spokane, WA area if anyone knows of any, I'd appreciate some info.

There really aren't any over there. Unforutnately the good shops are on the Western side of the state.

There are a couple in Seattle, but my money still would be to Lucas down here in the Vancouver area. He's been doing DSM stuff or a long time, and he owns his own Evo, which runs very respectable times. He was the first tuner in the area to offer E85 if I remember correctly as well. I have had work done by him, and have sent several others his way with no complaints. I think its worth the trip to somewhere in Western Washington if you want your Evo done right.

Any good shops in the Portland area? I have some family in Portland... might be able to kill two birds with one stone. I'm looking to get my car dyno tuned.

Lucas doesn't have a dyno in his shop, but he can definitely work with you on that. There are AWD dynos in the PDX area that Lucas could utilize if that were important to you
