BTW - I don't necessarily think your car is a lemon, was just throwing things out there which got me looking info up on the internetz. It is unclear how much of the lemon law pertains to used vehicles. The actual law looks more like a new vehicle thing.

I spoke to Louis (who was highly reccomended here) about that, apparently the "factory rep" who was responsible for all that works at....... SUBARU!!!

He got the axe from Mitsu and Louis has had a number of friends all ditch their Sti's and start looking for Evo's because they had their warranties voided by this ***-hat.

Makes me happy.

Yes, it needs updating so people will know who sucks and who doesn't. Hopefully more people will post their experience, both sales and service

Any update on this? As I have a 3rd party warranty, and wanted to know If I'm still covered.

Thanks

If your car is modified in any way performance wise, I doubt a 3rd party will cover anything, unless it was specifically stated in the warranty when you purchased it.

Perhaps with a 3rd party warrenty you would be better of going to a non-mitsubishi owned mechanic? I see signs at mechanics saying they do 3rd party warenty work.

Thanks for the reply, the car was purchased with intake and exhaust. The 3rd party warranty was part of the the deal. I'll speak with a rep and post back my findings.

Any of you out there had luck with your 3rd
Party warranty?

Thanks
