You're doing your own tuning? I'd suggest working with ER if you aren't sure how to do this yourself. Best of luck!

Very interesting. I'd email or PM one of the guys from ER and they can probably fix you up proper like.

Do you have a straight pipe or some other modification that would have needed an older CEL fix? I'm guessing that's what it is and if so then I'd hazard this is an older tune from ER. They should be able to give you the newer fix, if that is what it is.

After you disconect battery or clear cel, obd2 system takes about 1hour of driving to go through all paramenters and get everything cheked. Now in oregon you can pass even if 1 of them is not ready.
Tune by ER or anyone else would not make OBD2 scanner to read not ready.

Sugestion to stop by any parts store and have them check your car. Its free and will show you if you are ready to pass DEQ.

Are you located really close to the testing place? It is recommended to drive the vehicle for a little bit before performing an emissions test. Could have not driven the vehicle long enough to do what it needs to do, just a thought.

"Not Ready" is different from having any codes. After codes are cleared, the system must be driven for an extended time period - which varies by mfgr - to be in a ready state. Did you reflash to clear codes recently?

Put on another 50 highway miles and 50 city miles and test again.

We can turn the emissions stuff off now and make any car pass. IT might have started on an old basemap when I tuned the car originally. Hard to say as I dont assign names to each tuned map I leave them generic and make them fit the combo. The forced pass emissions stuff is relatively new as well so it might have been as we were switching over.

We have been contacted just trying to figure out an easy way to meet and make it right.

Figured this is what it might have been since the "real" fix only came out early last year or something like that? You guys might long term need to start backing up and cataloging the customers roms so you can start sending them email if you see new stuff pop up they might need. Good for them and good for you in the long term I would think

It would be nice to be able to do that, but its cost and time prohibitive. I would have to everyones personal contact info, mod list, and save their ROM somewhere where it is safe. Having lost laptops in the past it makes it obvious that there are too many variables. The best option is when someone sees something they want changed like this or has a question if it was already done, they download their ROM and send it to me. It cant be lost off the car If I am doing it for free they need to step up and do at least half the work.

The emissions stuff is from july of last year I think...maybe even more recent.
