check engine light flashing...
So i figured i would post this here given the apparent knowledge of our area.
Ive noticed when im driving on the freeway, in 6th gear usually around the 2500 - 3500 RPM range, as i roll into the throttle my "service engine soon" light flashes. It doesn't happen all the time, pretty much at random. It also did it this weekend while running through the pass headed towards smith rock.
I have a feeling it may be that i have the worlds worst BOV, but i am also worried about it due to the fact this is a daily driver. I did turn the boost down one whole turn but it still did it.
English tune, perrin intake + exhaust, 26lbs boost. Perrin BOV
any ideas?

Its all good Aaron, we ended up leaving earlier than i had anticipated. it will prolly be next week, hence being paid Friday. I think ill have you go ahead with the injectors and re-tune it anyways.
what typically causes this?

^why were you pushing the car when you were doing your 30k service??
In all seriousness, you coincidentally were getting knock counts after doing a 30k? You might want to see if you can repro that consistently and then follow through with what you did. And maybe not push it too close to the edge until a little more certain of things.
