Need help

I have a 2012 outlander sport I purchased some led bulbs for above my license plate but cannot figure out how to install it and where is the access to change the bulbs out?

open your trunk, and the big giant plastic cover on inside has to be removed. There are a few clips around that you have to search for and remove and once you do then you can remove that panel and you will be able to access the bulbs.

Yeah... no.

The panel inside the trunk is for replacing the reverse lights. To get to the license plate lights you slide the clear plate to the *right*, and it should pop off.

^^ i did it my way and i had access to it perfectly, it's still a way to get to it so dont' say its wrong when it is a still another way to do it.

Searching for multiple clips and removing interior panels is definitely not the "recommended" way, and according to Mitsubishi, it IS wrong.

This IS how the manual says to do it.
