Got pulled over yesterday morning for no front plate by same dumb broad of a police officer and she gave me ticket...no fix it ticket or warning. I drove a way i normally dont drive and I passed here going the opposite direction. She put on here brakes and flipped a U turn. She proceeds to follow me for a mile where she pulls me over. I told her the truth. When I bought my car it only came w/ the rear plate. Her explanation was that since I told her that I didnt know where my plate was and that it could be on someone else's car in my name, so therefore she gave me a $124 ticket...how does that make any sense at all...? DUMB BROAD! I have been pulled over numerous times by State and county police and never had anything said to me.../rant

wshihdnevo, like it or not it is the law in WA to have one. So if you don't run with a front plate can't do too much if they pull you over and give you crap for it.

 

He knows its the law, but regardless, its stupid. But you gotta pay to play.

 

thats ****ty about having a front plate i'm glad that kentucky doesnt need that...when i get pulled over cops try to get me for that but since my evo is registered out of state.

 

I don't run a front plate, and i never will. But unlike all the evos all i have to do is roll up my window and they will never pull me over for it

I got a ticket for no front plate in my talon once. All I did was had a mitigated hearing where I showed the judge a pic of my car with the front plate on. Find someone with a silver evo w/ a front license plate bracket, put your front plate on their car, take a picture and take it to court. They'll never know it wasn't your car and will likely throw the ticket out. That will probably only work once though, so try not to get another ticket for the same thing.

 

Hey guys, I'm still considering what intake and intercooler piping to go with. I was thinking of going with the Fujita kit, but really like the looks of the ARC stuff. However, there is a huge price difference, but the ARC parts look sweet under the hood. Anyone know of the HP numbers put up by these two intakes and intercooler piping?

 

What are you getting the parts for? To look good? Go fast? Bit of both? ARC is a bit overpriced for those parts you are looking into.
