Seattle is a great city, and people are in general, very nice (special dispensation for the asshats that moved from California to screw up our state. GO HOME YOU LIBERAL BASTARDS!)
givin the weather there are things to do all year round, just dont ancitipate having a killer tan and/or spending all summer with a clean car. It rains all year round.
per wiki: Despite being on the margin of the rain shadow of the Olympic Mountains, the city has a reputation for frequent rain. This reputation derives from this frequency of precipitation as well as the fact that it is cloudy an average of 201 days and 93 partly cloudy days per year. At 37.1 inches , the city receives less precipitation than New York City, Atlanta, Houston, and most cities of the Eastern Seaboard of the United States. Seattle was also not listed in a study that revealed the 10 rainiest cities in the continental United States. Most of the precipitation falls as drizzle or light rain.
Pros:
- Lots of stuff to do Downtown
- Lots of asian people for you
- 5th biggest Chinatown in the Lower 48
- Cultured
Cons:
- Rain, Rain, Rain
- Seattle Drivers suck
- Hippies
- Traffic
- Expensive to live in the Downtown Area

Holy crap! Justin barely logs on and he makes a post about beggars. I guess we know where he stands on the issue.
Good to hear from ya, buddy!
BTW - one thing Seattle can get a rap for are the passive aggressive types, and people that are so introverted they may not smile and look you in the eye for the most part. They do exist but if you are outgoing it is usually easy to get by that.
Oh yeah, lots of liberals. I lean toward liberal but I mean hippie liberals. Probably not as many as Portland (based on what I hear), but I'd say pretty close.
One last point, while everywhere has bad drivers, the aforementioned hippie liberals and introverts in Seattle are also driving cars. They will be so wrapped up in themselves that they won't think to move their 55mph-in-th-left-lane prius' over for you, cause it is their right (even though according to state law it is not).
