English Racing is down in Camus, WA. About a 2-2.5 hour drive south of seattle but you can't beat it! usually english comes up north to a shop in auburn for a "dyno day" where they spend ~30-45 minutes on a car and move onto the next and that's where a lot of us get our tunes done
there are a couple shops up north, not sure who has a dyno and is a trusted evo tuner though. I'd pucker up and make the trip to english when you need a tune. Iishi motorsports in bellevue a bunch of people have gone to for installs and i havent heard anything about them, but for tuning you can't beat english racing

Hey guys I'm moving to Washington in a couple months and wanna know are there any good tuner shops in the Lakewood/Tacoma/Seattle area? I'm leaving an area (Fort Bragg) where there is an awesome shop (SpecOps Motorsports) and I'm worried lol. Thanks
Btw I have a 2010 EVO X GSR

Nice! Another Evo X joins the ranks! I have a 08 Evo X GSR! Make sure to keep an eye out for the meets on here. Welcome to the Northwest!

English Racing is highly recommend for everyone here in the Northwest region. You can even ask Mikey at SpecOpsmotorsport. He is a good friend of Aaron and Lucas at English Racing. Very good people and they will take care of you.
English should be your only though in the PNW when it comes to letting a shop touch your car! Mikey and I were once customers, and now good friends and fellow vendors with the whole ER crew!
btw Ft Lewis sucks. It will be a lot different than Bragg haha

That is the same Spec-Ops Motorsports. Freddie and Myself do work there and have been for the past year or so... It has been a lot of fun and we wouldn't be where we are at if it wasn't for the support from other shops like English Racing. I owe a lot of gratitude and respect to Lucas and Aaron @ ER. You are in great hands up there with those guys and they have my highest recommendation. When I first got my Evo in 2007, I learned the hard way and took my car to a different shop and then ER had to fix all the issues and what was funny is, that the shop that tuned my car up in the PNW was using Aaron's map. Thiefs... Aaron is one of the best stock ECU tuners in the world, if not the best!

Who dat is...?!!!
Illtech weren't the only ones re-using those maps in the Northwest. There was another place down in Kent near Pina that used to do the same.
Anyway ER is the only shop around here worth their salt for Evo tuning purposes.

Not to sound like Im in the know, which I sort of am, but if you knew what I knew you'd know why I said his name...Pina has been around for quite awhile and a lot of people who used to work there back in the day are OG dsm'ers...thats why I say what I say.
