R1's are: 265/35/18
I'll be playing more with the plasma today I think. If I get sick of poor cuts I'll build a small CNC table and stop screwing around. A friend at work has done a few DIY CNC projects and they sound like fun.

Finished the reinforcement of the splitter. Now I just need to make the mounts for the cables on the bumper beam, and extend the front air damn. I'll upload pics tonight.
^ WOW!
Awsome build my friend!
Ive been thinking about doing a 2.3L + GT3076R Build! How do you think the turbo and engine go together? Do you think the turbo runs out of puff? How quick does it build boost?
Also, how is the drivability with the Kelfords? Im currently running them on the 2.0L, and they are pig around town..

Right now the boost is set at 7psi as the motor has just 700 miles on it. I'll be turning up the boost in about a week and a half. Then I'll really see how the turbo is doing. I put this together in terms of buying parts before the FP Red existed. If I did it again I'd just use a Red.
The Kelfords are no problem for me. What are your problems with daily driving... idle. I can help with the idle if needed.

Not, not really the idle, its just a dog in the low RPM..
Boy, your build is really swaying me to go a GT3076R with a A/R 0.83 and a 2.3L..

The way I see it the only reason to use a 3076 is for quicker spool over a 35R, at which point you should use the smallest A/R turbine, the .63. The .83 will be really laggy. And in general I think the 3076 is a slower spooler than a FP red. But if the Red is not easy to get in Australia the 3076 is probably the best option. It's really nice to have the "bolt-in" nature of the Red though. All the stuff for a T3 based kit is kinda a hassle.
Like I said, if I started now it would be a Red - makes things easy as it just bolts in. And it has been proven to make serious power.

The only problem is that I can get a tuned length exhaust mani (HPC Coated 3.6mm thick steam pipe), GT3076R (with polished comp cover and HPC coated exhaust housing), Tial 44mm wastegate for the same price as a FP Red over here..
Is there any turbo that would be good without going to a GT35 series turbo, as I believe they are too big..
A guy over here just built a 2.3L with a GT35R and a .63 turbine housing.. I dont like the look of his dyno graph.. looks laggy and isnt that linear in its power delivery.. it almost seems to come on all at once.. which is not what I need..

We have a few cars here running them.. (FP Red)
And I must say, they arnt that impressive.. Long spoolup times (4500rpm) and JUST nudging 400hp on a 2.3L.
Anyways, enough thread jacking.. Back to this AWSOME build!!!
I want!! haha!

I had a 3076 TS T3 .78 on my 2.3L - it started spooling before 3000rpm and had full boost by 3500rpm in 3rd gear drove like a stock turbo. I also think the T3 .63 will be the bets hotside to minimise lag for your application...
.
IMO : I have ATP GT3076R A/R .82 on Gruppe S 2.3L ''Power Package'' and i have the Start Spooling @ 3600 and full Boost on 4300 RPM i think its AWESOME ...
And i think that red will work prfectly on RACE Gas .
Good Luck !

ps. what size would you estimate the flow off the reds hotside to be equivalent to - looks much smaller than a T3 .63; surely a 2.3 will choake it and cause boost to taper above 6000rpm???
thanks again for the info.
