2.3L GT3076Build
Well that's cars for you. When you think you've figured it out, it's something else. Well at least you'll rest a little easier at night knowing you took care of everything while you were in there.

Eagle.
Putting the tranny back in tomorrow and hope to be back on the road logging more break-in miles. Then it will be tuning time. Got to hit the track March 15th making the powa!

good post, interesting. Cause when we we built ours or customers 2.3L. we didn't have any issues with rod clearance. Your eagle rod look very similar to Cossworth that we have used. Also we uses 0 weight oil on first start and breaking the engine in on the dyno.

I actually would have been OK without clearancing the block... I think. The eagle rods aren't too large at the crank. But I knew that it could be an issue. So instead of doing a bunch of test fitting I just cleared the three webbed areas of the block and called it good.

Transmission and transfercase are back in place - that was a beast. Getting the transmission in with the subframe in place is hard. It took a couple hours and alot of hmmmm, lets try it this way, or maybe that way.
Looking to be back on the road today.

Dyno numbers when I:
- Stop working on remounting my splitter so I can put the radiator back in.
- Fill radiator and start car.
- Put 300 more miles on the car.
- Change oil.
- Add another 1000 miles.
- Change Oil.
- Turn up boost.
- Tune.
- Not spend $100 on parts, and use $100 for dyno just so I can post a dyno number - did I mention I could be buy parts with $100....
I'm signed up for the first track day of the year on the 15th of March. So I need to be tuned and ready by then. Of course I'm still tweaking and adding stuff to the car like always. I'll at least have numbers from my Traqmate GPS data logger. It has a pretty legit power output using the GPS and accelerometers. But I'd like to be able to compare between it's output and the local Dynojet.
