The trick I used the second time was to put the new studs in and start with an old head gasket. Torque the studs up once with the old gasket in-place. Then loosen the studs and remove the old gasket and put the new one in. Then ramp the studs up to the final torque value in three steps or so (never loosening). I used the L19 studs the 2nd time and 95 ft-lbs or something like that.
Got e85 in the car and I'm reviewing the tune on my drives to work and back. Looking to hit the track this weekend.

Car ran like a champ at the track this weekend. The Spoolin Up COP solved my misfire issue I had last year for sure now that I've put track time on it to confirm my street pulls.
Thus starts the third year of road racing on this garage built motor/car.
A few EVO's out representing on the track.

This widebody M3 was gettin' it done.
