Just wanted to give Collin from ToxicFab a shout for hookin me up with the new version of his cam sensor shield. The cut out ToxicFab logo looks awesome. Not to mention the manifold looks amazing now that its turned gold. Theres no question in my mind as to who will be making my big boy turbo kit when that time comes Thank you Collin!

Great looking setup. I've got to grab a crinkle black valve cover.

Thank you guys!

The thing Im happiest about is how smooth the car drives. Two friends of mine who have come for a ride with me, who also have Evo IX's, also commented on that to me. One friend has just a few boltons and a normal tune on stock injectors with a MAF and he commented how you'd never know my car had what it had because it drives even smoother than his does, and another friend with full boltons and a SD tune on stock ECU also said he was amazed how the car drove as smoothly as it did and how his car drove very choppy.

To summarize: Aaron is the man

This statement is 100% true. If not for the Triple disk making all that noise and the giant cams this car is pretty "sleeper" for an Evo. Just looks/sounds and DRIVES like a stock/bolt on's evo. It could 100% be daily driven as it sits now.

And Svendiesel forgot to mention this is on a BASE MAP!

Well I finally just ripped it for the first time! On a break in tune from Aaron, the turbo hit 26psi. It pulled harder and harder, it was insane. I was very impressed and my friends jaw dropped haha.

Heres the virtual dyno sheet. Keep in mind this is a basemap! The VD says I hit 33 psi...I hope thats not true lol, my boost gauge said 26 lol.

As of now, not really lol. Just been driving it a lot and did get a few pulls in. I have a small oil leak that I havent been able to pinpoint just yet. I need to get around to replacing my knock sensor also because that is still giving me difficulty. I hit the 1000 mile mark just the other night, overall the car has been excellent.

Also, I emptied my catchcan and heres what came out. Anyone thirsty? Its primarily water! Why the hell would this happen?? Im pretty sure my head gasket is fine.

Car is gonna be goin down for a little bit, I need to get an oil leak figured out, plus replace my knock sensor finally and get my 45psi boost gauge wired in and the serial logging cable for the UEGO.

While its down Ill replace the fluid in my new Shep t-case and change the oil.

For the Shep t-cases...on the highway in 5th at like 2700rpm (+/-100) I have a very noticeable medium pitched whine. Its not super loud, but it is noticeable. Above or below that RPM it is absent, and the same goes for being in another gear. Its only in 5th. I dont recall having that noise when I had my stock t-case, so Im not blaming the tcase, but I know it wasnt there before I got it built. Does anyone else have that? Its a stage 2 with REM ISF with a Quaife

I noticed it a little prior to my last T-case rebuild being one gear specific. I think in my case it was 5th gear itself not so much the case. Let me know when its all fixed I wanna get this thing 100% dialed for you and see if we cant sneak it on a dyno like we did DragKing's If you have one close enough maybe I should just plan a trip
