How can it flow more then 68lbs when the compressor wheel is a 68lb/min wheel?

Lets not get too off topic, take that to another thread or PM's.

It's still off topic.

Any updates on the build Graphite? Did you get anymore parts?

Your right, one post answering the question is just too much to ask. I forgot what forum im on....

The whole thread has jumped topics but i guess my question pushed it over the edge with all these volunteer moderators jumping in

Sorry Joe,

I don't really have any evidence supporting my claim. My opinion was simply an observation I've seen multiple times on the forum where the black seems to make power beyond comparable 68 lb/min turbos.

This is now the benchraceasaurus thread.

<- Not holding my breath for numbers to come in for these bolt on turbos...

Oh, and although a DJ will read higher than the MD, they are definitely not 'flywheel' figures.

I think that it is based on the rule of thumb that for 1lb. of air you can achieve 10hp.

There are a few extreme examples of a FP Black making more than 680hp.

Mikey's 750 whp run comes to mind, but as we know it was turned into single scroll through heavy porting and is hardly the norm (and not stock form).

^ highest horsepower black... don't hate it. it was mildly ported and no one ever proved that it was a single scroll

I would also like to thank Robert @ Forced Performance, Michael @ ETS, and all the other cats that made my car possible.

It looks like converting over to a Single Scroll housing .92a/r with an external 44mm wastegate I lost 600rpms.

So to the graph, really the only thing that you guys care about!

make this power, so don't call Robert at FP wanting your money back because you didn't make over 750hp.[/B]

This car is MAXED out on mods without going to crazy. Lots of money, and lots of time. Also please if you are going to make smart comments leave them to yourself. There was no "cheating" on this dyno. My car made the power easy and I even posted the corrected since some people talk **** about uncorrected!

Mikey
Hhmm...I guess that it is still up for speculation of who the mad scientist behind the porting was....

What power is this kit supposed to make and when do you expect to get some figures? You do realise half the tuning world is watching you right
