no oil squirters. you don't need them! the wiseco HD can run fine without them.

For the longest time I was color snobby and only liked the black, white and gray evos but now Ive seen so many that if done properly I like all the colors.

@tscompusa nice build. Im looking at options of building a 2.4LR myself. Having not built a engine yet i was wondering what you would charge to build one? Im in the process of hunting down a 4g64 block.

What compression are these pistons rated at? They are the pistons in my 2.4 and I don't have original materials that came with them.

We can work out a price. a couple hundred to assemble and measure everything. It shouldn't take more then 5-6hrs to assemble (short block only). I wont do it unless its done by a reputable machine shop though.

its 9.7:1 im pretty sure. http://www.excessiveracing.com/WIS-K626M87-2.aspx

they are good pistons. i wouldn't reuse them though Adam. you could lose the engine over a piston failing, its not worth it not knowing the past history of the engine and the condition it was in when you got it.

i can get you pistons for a good price if you need them. just contact me via email.

I am having them checked. They look pretty good. If they are damaged I won't use them.

@tscompusa What shop would you recommend. And what year and make was the block you used in the 2.4 build? Will try and get the same one. for a evo 8 2005. I emailed you and pm'd.
Also would you be willing to do the water pump and pulleys as well.

man there are so many post that it makes it confusing. What i need to know is will the swap bolt up to the stock trand and tcase. dont wanna have to replace them as there being rebuilt . i'm very interested in doing this swap. just need to make sure i have the right information and block.

i found a 03 Mitsubishi Eclipse gs does it matter if it comes from a manual transmission or auto? and would this block work?

Bumping a old thread!

Update on my car, my exedy springs on the one clutch disk just failed "all snapped" not 100% sure what even causes that. I pulled the transmission apart and set it off to Shep to get it rebuilt while it was off the car with 4.11's.

Will post up pic's of the damaged clutch tomorrow.
