Ok one more for today.
I purchased a leather wheel kit from Rediline as the leather on my steering wheel was in terrible condition.
Here is the kit right out of the box

Foam padding installed on the wheel

Leather pulled over the wheel and aligned

After being stitched

Some close ups of the stitching

The leather this is made out of is amazing. By far the best ~$100 I have spent so far. It only took about 2 hours to fully complete and about 30 min of that was me watching videos on different stitching techniques.

great attention to detail. Was the evo IV trailing arm steel? and the IX arm aluminum?

Just bought a 97 Mirage. $600 bux.

Initially I decided to buy it because my 300zx's ruca **** the bed and I needed a beater for work. But now I have another reason. Mu ha ha.

Great thread man. I'll be picking your brain soon if it's cool. I'll definitely need some tips and tricks with my conversion.

Couple questions though, wouldn't it be easier to buy a 8/9 drive train, rear floor pan and bolt it all up?
Then worry about the Evo 5/6 body panels later?

Will the Evo 8/9 dash and interior fit without much work?

Ill gladly answer any questions you have.

The evo 8/9 rear floor works if you are doing an evo 5/6 conversion. None of the 8/9 front suspension or interior work without major modification.

Sweet! So your getting a evo6 rear cut, is the rear gass included?
Who is the seller? Might need a small part if they have it!
Good job so far

Its an evo 4 rear cut coming from Hilux on this forum. It includes the glass as well as a number of other bits and bobs I needed.
