No Tom, not yet. I have to pick up my valve cover from getting powder coated tomorrow afternoon. I should have that ROM fired up tomorrow evening or early Tuesday morning at the latest. I changed the oil and thinking about doing the spark plugs since things are open. That knock was pretty strange though in that last run. I am liking how things are progressing so far on 91-octane. I would like to do everything WITHOUT the double pumper in order to do a good comparison with both fuels against the EF4 since I am using the exact same road. If I am not mistaken, we stopped the 91-octane tune at 24PSI and the E85 tune at 32PSI. I also added the fuel injector duty cycle with EVO Scan to see where I am with the single fuel pump.

I am thinking about taking out my windshield wiper reservoir and installing a larger K&N filter (RU-5111).

Took mine out, mine was for the intercooler though. Free up a ton of space!

Not to mention that it makes the engine bay look more beastly.

That's the intercooler sprayer tank. the wiper tank is in the trunk Levar lol.

I can get you the same filter as i got on my evo if you can source a 4" intake pipe like i have.. 4" you'll gain more power on SD.

JMFAB made my intake pipe.

I made sure that everything was nice and clean before I put it back on. I had to put a dab of sealant on each of the four "cylinder seals" as those jokers kept falling off as I put the cover back on.

Oh boy! Talking about a shotgun blast of the obvious and a rookie moment, my friend. For all of these years, I thought it was the windshield wiper fluid reservoir and the one in the back was for the back window. Dang! I wonder how many times I have made that statement not to mention to people that I speak "EVO" to. What is even worse is that no one ever bothered to correct me until now. Dang!

As for the intake set up, I was looking at this along with a 3-4" reducer.

LOL, I assumed the same thing when I first got my EVO. I didn't figure it out until I used the washer and realized that the motor noise was coming from the trunk!

BTW - how do you like those torque motor mounts? I've been staying away from those mounts due to the car being a DD and wanted to keep the vibrations down...

I love them, my friend. I do not experience any vibrations at all.

I noticed that awhile back but never bothered to say anything.

Oh, and I run the JMFab piece on mine like Tom, just in 3". It's a very nice piece. And also, the Amsoil filter flows a bit better than the K&N.

It's P/N: 3090 for the 3"

http://www.amsoil.com/catalog.aspx?C...-EA&zo=1840691

and 4090 for the 4"
