Well, I'm about to tear up another belt. Less than 100 miles.

I bought the Napa replacement tensioner pulley, I'll replace it, but I have my doubts.

Is there a history of AC pulleys being bad? I can see the belt wobble back and forth on it. A little suspect.

I'm pretty sure the culprit is a chip in my crank pulley. Didn't realize how big it was. I sanded it a little, but I'm going to try to find a good deal on a Fluidampr.

I have a used OEM damper on the way. Couldn't justify a Fluidampr. I've spent too much on "fun" parts this month. When I get over 350whp I'll put one on.

USPS lost my radio bezel. I'm sad. AWD is sending another one.

I was really close to installing my intake last night, but I want to hold off until I get my base tune finished. I think I'm pretty close. 275/281 Virtual Dyno. Spiked to 25, holding 22 until about 6200.

I got impatient and installed it...

Rebuilding my VIII-kncgtqr.jpg

Also about to finish the ETS LICP install. I'll turn my boost down and start tuning again. Hoping for some decent numbers and less crazy knock.

I love the way the intake sounds, but I'm hearing some flutter at about 22psi holding steady. Wonder if my BOV is having issues. It's a slightly crushed IX valve I bought off the forum.

That looks nice for stock piping compared to oem couplers.

Thanks for the offer. I picked one up last week. Installed yesterday and everything seems "ok" for now.

Car seems to be running well. I blew a fuse this morning for the ECU. I think my MAF wiring rubbed my UICP. With the ETS LICP not having a brace on it, and removing the intake box brace, everything rattles a little. I may need to make some adjustments.

Also, I'm almost positive my BOV is leaking. Now that I can hear things, I can hear a flutter in 3rd gear where I spike to 25ish. Doesn't do it in other gears. May see about crushing it a little.

Well, I don't think it's my BOV leaking. I took some time at noon and crused it on my press. Just a hair. Still getting the same flutter/helicopter noise. I need to run a boost leak test to see what's going on.

Are you sure it's not the flutter from the 3-port? It has been known to freak people out when they switch over.

Hmm, maybe. It was ticking and I put a piece of hose behind it. That's a good call, though. That would definitely explain it.

Even with rubber behind mine it still sounds like compressor surge. I've got a stock exhaust so the flutter is quite noticeable with how quiet the car is. Hopefully that's all it is.

Is yours bolted to the factory location? I'm sure being right under the filter it's just being amplified. Thanks! I was about to start spending money.

Guess maybe I can afford that exhaust this next week, now!

I had it mounted in the stock location for a little while but ended up moving it to the radiator fan bracket. For the life of me I can't remember why I put it there, though.
