Bought a set of Whiteline lower FCA busings and the Perrin PSRS with caster offset. That's going to be fun!

Oh man. I'm excited. A friend of mine owns EuroPartsOnline. He's going to be carrying just about every major brand starting in May! My wallet may be in trouble.

What's the hard part? Getting the bushings in or "dinging" the subframe?

My main issue so far has been removing the arms, which eventually led to cutting/welding the subframe. You are probably better off than I with your TX car. I wound up taking the arms to my local hot rod shop to get the bushings done (got to throw the guy a bone every now and then for inspecting my barely legal junk, and Im pressed for time right now anyways...). Im now fighting with the install trying to line everything up. Probably no more than 3 beers from finishing.

Its do-able...just alot of little things that can turn it into much bigger job than planned.

Ah, gotcha...

I've had my arms out, so I know that's not so bad. I had to replace the boots on the ball joints.

PSRS came in today.

How have you guys setup your spacers? Added anti-lift? I read somewhere that Perrin is actually using the terminology incorrectly. Want to make sure I install it with the most benefit.

Regardless of what it is called, I believe the benefit comes from installing the extra spacer on top. If you look at the spacers provided, the small and medium ones pretty much make up the same thickness as the large one. So if you put the small spacer on the bottom w/ the med spacer, youve just put the bushing at "stock" height. If you put it up top, its now lower than stock.

Mine are going on the top...

Okay, gotcha. I think I read that Perrin suggests that, too.

Thanks for confirming. I didn't realize you hadn't installed these, yet. Your car is going to be a whole new animal soon!

Ive fought with installing the driver's side for a couple hours already and still haven't figured out the trick to getting both bolts to line up. uggh...

Also really wish I had read about the "dent" when I had my subframe off.

Oh, no fun Charlie.

I'm going to wrestle with the AC parts this weekend. It's getting warm and muggy around here, so it's time. Take some pics if you don't mind!

Good luck. Hopefully it all works out for you.

I cracked my window the other day on the way home AND turned the heater off for a minute! Summer must be coming soon!

Haha, awesome. It wouldn't be so bad, but my boy doesn't like the wind in his face quite yet.
