So, a recap as to everything I did (or attempted) while the car was apart.
Powder coated valve cover.
Replacement power steering pump
Grimmspeed Turbo to O2 sensor housing gasket
Competition Clutch stage 2 sprung
Torque Solution front motor mount
Torque Solution delrin shifter cable bushings
STM clutch line (still not installed)
Replaced input shaft, first gear, and 5th gear and new shims
Double roll pins
Amsoil tranny fluid
Diaqueen in transfer case
New rear main seal
ARP flywheel bolts
resealed oil pan
TurboSmart 14psi actuator
So, now I have to replace or repair my condenser and I'm going to replace my mix door. I nicked my inner CV boot on the driver's side. Already ordered the replacement. I'll do that Wednesday night or so and then get it in for an alignment. UEGO is next so I can start making some power.
Thanks for following along!

Having a frustrating day, so I did a little work on the car. Replaced the CV boot last night. Easy enough.
Hooked up my 3-port again this morning. Working on adjustments. 2nd gear is spiking pretty high, but I'll get it worked out. Trying to get boost to about 20 until I get the UEGO in.
This showed up on my doorstep:

The seller threw in a few fittings. Too bad they aren't the size I need.
Total cost of oil cooler setup so far: $50

It was my first evo and coming from Honda where another mans mistake becomes a cheap easy fix for the new owner. Compared to Evos you need patience and somewhat be mechanically inclined. I didnt have the patience especially coming from a deoloyment. I wanted something now, and it didnt work. So when I bought another one I wanted stock at all costs. Im still scared from this one.

Yeah, it's hard to get your confidence level up. I blew the motor on my talon and I'm still not fully recovered. That was almost 10 years ago. I think monitoring your "vitals" and checking things over and over really helps. I may be making mistakes along the way, but at least if something happens, I can trace it back and learn from it. If a shop made a mistake, I may have to guess at where it happened.
Let me know if you're coming through Dallas sometime. I'd love to check out your new one.

I was able to do a couple pulls today for logging. Still trying to get my boost nailed down. I was running mid 19s in 3rd and around 21 in 2nd. Taking 3rd up a hair and 2nd down. I found that my Tephra version was super old. I found a good version of V7 and I have all the tables I need, now. Hoping to get all my gear-based boost set this week so I can start with some fuel and timing tuning.

Fittings were about $12 and $15 per pair.
Cost of cooler so far, about $67
I also bought a set of Samco couplers from a forum member. All but the turbo to LICP, which will be replaced when I get a new LICP. Excited!

I've made a little progress. Been doing a lot of logging and messing around with Virtual Dyno so I can make sure that things are moving in the right direction. Tuning the 3-port is tricky, but I think it's worth it.
Here are 2 pulls from a few days apart. Still trying to see how much I can shave off of my spool time. I had a little bit of knock on the red pull, but haven't done any timing adjustments, yet. Trying to get the boost curve perfect.

Also picked up a set of Samco couplers, all but the turbo to LICP. I'll replace that when I get a new one. I have a small coolant leak. I think it's from the big pipe to the water pump. I had the hose powdercoated but reused the o-ring. Oops. I have another one, just need to get it done. Maybe by this weekend. There's snow and ice here, so I won't be messing with it for a few days.
I also picked up 6 feet of Russell -8AN hose for $43 shipped. Cost of oil cooler setup, about $110 so far.

Thanks! Easy to install, but yet, it's been a bit of a pain to get it going. I think it'll help me pull more out of my "setup", though.
I'll work with it more when it's about 20 degrees warmer.

Ordered my wideband. Stoked for that!
Also trying to trace down a coolant leak. I thought it was the big o-ring on my water pipe, but I replaced it and it's still present. from the passenger's side of the engine bay. Might be my radiator drain.

Well, just when I was getting happy, I think the water pump just went out on me. I've been losing coolant since I started her back up. Thought it was the big pipe in the rear. Changed the o-ring. No dice. Coolant was pouring out of the lower timing cover. Pulled the covers and I'm pretty sure that's the problem. I used an OEM gasket and new OEM bolts torqued to spec. Something isn't happy, though. Always something fun to do. At least I'm getting faster at this stuff.
