New WW IX MR
yes and no. when i first got this car it had them, and after having driven in the stock evo position for 75k miles, i couldn't get used to it, and sold them for oem brackets. then I realized I missed them, and the second time I installed them it feels right but I didn't notice as stark of a difference

tore out my passenger side front wheel/fender lining while autoxing yesterday lol. after being in the mini it's hard to adjust into the evo.. i need to add more grip!
Been terribly, terribly busy with work & extracurriculars I'm involved in, but I'd be remiss if I didn't update this thread.
Evo is getting prepped for pseudo STU
- Ciro Design Caster Plates are on the way – this is to help increase some of that mid corner/long sweeper push I experience in the Evo. Should be able to add about 2* of caster to the car, should help with some of the dynamic camber loss
- Whiteline 24mm adjustable rear sway bar – I believe the positions are 19%, 4x%, 67% stiffer than OEM. I’m trying to keep a good amount of rear wheel independence, as there is still a lot of power going to the rear wheels – low speed corners, I do get power oversteer if I just stand on it. Was originally concerned that it wouldn’t be stiff enough, but I think it should turn out just right. Reuses OEM mounting brackets
- Rear diff refresh – by Jon@TRE. I consider this guy the #1 diff/trans shop in the US, hands down.
Tune by English Racing – Big thanks to them for all the support they've provided throughout the year!
I'm hoping to do about 150 runs in the Mini this year, about 75 or so in the Evo - spread out over a course of 30-35 events for 2015. Lot of schools & test n tunes included as well though.
For now, the Evo is up and on stands until the rear diff is back:

I'm also going to be testing three oil filters this year. I'm going to try to get a similar number of autox runs & miles on each. Won't be apples to apples of course, but I should be confident enough from the results to see if there is any significant difference.

noooooooooooooooo
i'm actually ok with that - the fact that i haven't noticed until now tells me they at least look good, and i do prefer the flat black vs chrome for the taillights, BUT a little bit annoying as I did pay for the 9's (I believe they're more expensive) from the now-defunct Mellon Tuning
